The author does a good job flushing out the details - great future slangs, her obsession with The Beatles, how religion has and hasn't changed. So in that aspect yes it was time well spent. I listened to the audible version and I have to tell you one star is just for the narrator and her great job with the voices and and the Aussie accents.
